Girls MSL League Track Results

Academy’s girls track team finished up MSL-Ohio Track & Field Championship finals last Friday, May 13th, taking third place overall.

Audrey Grammel’17 was a big winner, taking individual league titles in the 800 and 1600 meter events, with times of 2:27.44 and 5:21.17, respectively. Cobi Warstler’16 was not far behind in the same events, finishing in the top four for both.

In the 4×400 relay, the team of Jacinta Crestanello’17, Jessica Griffin’17, Louise Rosler’16, and Warstler claimed the league title with a time of 4:08.68.

The 4×800 team of Warstler, Grammel, Rosler, and Maddie Tuckerman’19 finished with a time of 9:53.79, also winning a league title.

Ginnie Ma’18 finished with a distance of 15-06.50 in the long jump, enough to easily earn her the league title.

In the 300 meter hurdles, Rosler finished in third place with a time of 48.83, very close behind first place.

Suzie Frankovich’17 ran in the 3200 meter event and earned a third-place finish with a time of 13:12.22.

With the large field and high-stakes of a league championship, the girls track team showed that every runner on the team represents the Vikings well. With many league title earners and third place overall, the girls track team had a great finish this year at the MSL Championship.
