As the final days of the school year roll in, the seniors seem to be holding on to every last moment. The same sentiment went for this week’s girls lacrosse games, creating more memories for the seniors to cherish.
The team started off on Tuesday, April 19, by defeating a tough Worthington Kilbourne 12-10.
On the next day’s game against Watterson and in anticipation of Senior Night, the girls’ excitement ran high.
After receiving flowers and taking pictures with their families, the girls got down to business. The team soundly defeated Watterson 14-1, including an impressive first-half shutout with goals from seven different players.
With a state championship under their belt, a great season underway, and even more good times to come, the seniors of the girls lacrosse team have plenty to celebrate.
