Academy’s Spring Orchestra Concert began with an ensemble performing an arrangement of “Stairway to Heaven” and the theme song from Star Wars. Mary Kate Kelley ’16 followed with a moving rendition of Camille Saint-Saens’ “The Swan.” Juniors Ketan Agrawal and Hunter Moffett  and seniors Atticus Lee and Jack Mills played their OMEA piece, “Allegro con Brio.”

Sophomores Andrew Zhang  and Sanna Symer both received their first letter in orchestra while Ketan Agrawal received his second letter.  Mary Kate Kelley  took home the National School Orchestra Award.

The evening ended with the Upper School Chamber Ensemble performing “‘Movement 1’ Sonfonia No. 2 in D Major” and ‘”Finale’ Serenade for Strings.”
