Girls Track Finishes Strong in Its First Meet

On Thursday, March 31, the girls track team competed against Horizon Science and Wellington. The team soundly defeated their opponents, finishing with 80 points to secure first place, while Horizon Science finished with 27 points and Wellington with 13.

Jessica Hile’16 threw a 28’2” in shot put, and Khloe Dubenion’18 threw a 88’8” in discus, both placing first.

Louise Rosler’16 won the high jump with a height of 3’10”, and Ginnie Ma’19 won the long jump with a distance of 14’8”.

Ma also won the 100 meter hurdles with time of 19.4 seconds.

Audrey Grammel’17 ran in the 1600-meter race and finished first with a time of 5:38.2. In the 800-meter dash, Cobi Warstler’16 took first place with a time of 2:45.6.
On Monday, April 4, the team travels to Worthington Christian, hoping to continue its success.
