Boys Swimming Keeps Its Winning Streak

On Friday, January 22, the boys swimming team finished first in its home meet against Bexley with a score of 134 points, 107 points ahead of Bexley.

Nate Goldfarb’17 won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 0:53.222 and the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 0:59.91. Max Dreisbach’18 won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:01.04 and the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.80.

The following day, the team competed in a mini invitational at home against Teays Valley, Grandview, Worthington Christian, and Bloom-Carroll. CA finished first with a score of 242 points, 118 points ahead of second place finisher, Teays Valley. Academy won all but two events, the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle. Dylan Warren’17 had stunning performances in the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke with times of 2:08.98 and 0:58.73, respectively.

The team competes in the MSL meet this Saturday, January 30.
