Boys Swimming

Back into action after a three-week break with a meet on Friday, January 8, and another on Saturday, January 9, the boys first competed against Teays Valley at home and won every event and finished first with a score of 115, 61 ahead of Teays Valley. Dylan Warren’17 and Max Dreisbach’18 led the team with two individual wins each. Warren finished first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.32 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 0:50.82. Dreisbach won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:02.24 and the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 0:24.22.

In its next morning competition, also at home, against Granville, CA  won every event and finished with a final score of 125, with an 84 point lead. Strong performances by Roman Bellisari’17 and Jacob Eismann’19 led the team as they both won two events. Bellisari won the 100 and 200-yard freestyle with times of 0:55.86 and 2:09.18 respectively. Eismann finished first place in the 50 and the 500-yard freestyle with times of 0:23.23 and 5:12.39 respectively.

The boys have won every swim meet this season. Let’s support the team in its successful streak at its next home meet on Thursday, January 14, against Bishop Hartley, Wellington, and Madison Christian at 4:30.
