On Wednesday, October 26, the Vikings battled the Granville Christian Academy Eagles at home in their District semifinal game. The Vikings entered the game blindly, having never faced the Eagles and earned an overwhelming 10-0 victory.

The District final on Saturday, October 31, against Fairbanks yielded another win.  Although they faced quick opponents, our boys prevailed and capitalized on their opportunities.

Initiating Viking momentum, Jack Ostrowski’18 sent the ball in front of the goal where Connor Brown’18 knocked it in. Ostrowski’s free kick was then deflected into the goal for a 2-0 lead.

Fairbanks rallied and scored, making the score 2-1 at half. Ostrowski’s final goal off a penalty kick sealed the Viking victory, and the boys became District champions with a 3-1 win.
