At Saturday’s MSL meet in London,  the girls earned runner-up, and the boys team won MSL Ohio champions!

Despite the uneven and harsh course, “It was a great meet for everybody. Many of us got all- time personal records or personal records for the season!” says captain Eleanor Rackoff’16.

Audrey Gammel’17 won the race with a time of 19:45, 35 seconds ahead of second place.

Cobi Warstler’16 finished 5th with a time of 20:50.  Jessica Griffin’17, Rackoff, and Sydney Brault’16 finished 11th, 12th, and 13th, respectively.

“The team is really coming together,” says Grammel. “We are all running faster times thanks to the excellent coaching. Now it’s just one meet at a time to see if we can progress into post- season.”

Nick Robie’18, Atticus Lee’16, and Andrew Heermann’16 led the team by finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Grayson Mick’17, Hirsh Hede’16, Sean Reagan’16, and Otis Klingbeil’16 came in 10th, 11th, 12, and 13th.

Both teams are thrilled to continue on in their post-season competition on Saturday, October 24th at Watkins Memorial for the district title!
