Seven new members have been added to Academy’s varsity field hockey, six of whom are 9th graders, which assures Coach Horton she will have a strong team over the next four years.

During the summer, the girls traveled to the University of North Carolina for a training camp, at which they scrimmaged the incoming freshmen for the UNC field hockey team, and lost only 1-0 to these top ranked college players. After coming away from this great performance, the Vikings are hopeful for another successful season.
