On Wednesday, April 15, Service Board members gathered around booths in the Senior Quad to share information about different service opportunities with middle school and upper school students.
Sixteen different sites were represented, allowing eighth graders a chance to think about how they want to complete their upcoming 45-hour service requirement. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors also enjoyed learning about the countless number of ways they could volunteer.
From animal shelters to summer camps to nursing homes, there was an opportunity for everyone to get excited about.
While the service booths lined the quad, food was available for students in the quad’s center. The Service Fair doubled as service board’s annual Spring POP celebration, so poptarts, popcorn, popsicles, and soda-pop were laid out for students to enjoy.
The celebration gave students a chance to relax and play games in the quad while simultaneously learning about ways to get involved in the school and local communities.
The Service Fair was not only informational, but fun, making the service celebration a huge success.
