With regular season over, CA’s wrestlers headed into the sectionals on Saturday, February 28. These matches were heavily contested, because of the concentration of wrestlers.
A total of 22 teams competed from all around central Ohio. Academy put on a dominating performance. Daniel Jones’15 earned 2nd place, Sam Wittman’15 got 3rd place, Calvin Wuorinen’16 got 4th place, Luke Albers’15 and Tim Leathery’15 both earned 5th place making for a great performance by our Vikings.
Daniel, Sam, and Calvin will advance to districts while Tim and Luke will be alternates.
Districts will be on Friday, March 6 and Saturday March 7.
