OHSAA Swimming Results

On February 28th, the girls team placed 6th overall, and the boys tied for 20th, their highest placement since 2012!

The girls, the 400-yard free relay team of Anya Kone’15, Sydney Brault’16, Sarah Campbell’16, and Abby Wilson’15, got state runner up and set a school-record of 3:30.30. The same team finished third in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Wilson is state runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle, setting a school record time of 50.75 seconds and finished 4th in the 200-yard freestyle. Wilson told the Columbus Dispatch that, “It’s a feeling of joy. That was one of my best swims. I felt good about all my times. All that hard work paid off. What a way to go out.”

Koné finished 7th in the 50-freestyle. Campbell finished 15th in the 200-yard freestyle and 10th in the 100-yard backstroke.

Freshman Audrey Grammel placed 12th in the 100-yard breast, and junior Sydney Brault finished 21st in the 500-yard freestyle.

Nate Goldfarb’17 received 4th place overall in the 100-yard breaststroke and 18th in the 200-yard IM.

Max Dreisbach’18 finished 15th in the 100-yard backstroke, and Tin Le’17 received 24th place in the 50-yard freestyle.

The relay team of Goldfarb, Dreisbach, Le’17, and Dylan Warren’17 finished 10th place in the 200-yard medley relay and 18th in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
