Girls Basketball Falls a Second Time to the Rams

On Saturday, January 17, Columbus Academy Girls Basketball faced Whitehall-Yearling for the second time this season. Academy’s first encounter was in early December, when the Vikings fell to the Rams, 21-52.

This time, Academy’s girls came out strong, with the home advantage on their side. They were unable, however,  to defeat Whitehall and lost 47-19. Kelly Brown was our leading scorer with eight points.

The Vikings have a 0-11record: however, they remain optimistic. “This was one of our higher scoring games, so I’m pretty happy about the outcome,”says Kennedy Sulton’17.  “All we can do from here is improve.”
