Apple faced some harsh criticism for both the glitchy launch of its new software, iOS8, and reports that some of the new iPhones are bending.

The British Parliament voted in favor of joining in the fight against ISIS, adding further strength to the newly-formed coalition already striking these terrorist targets in the Middle East.

Derek Jeter played his final game at Yankee stadium on Thursday, marking the end of a 20- season career with the Yankees, his only ever MLB team.

Eric Holder, the U.S. Attorney General, announced he will resign, once the administration finds a replacement for his job. Holder has been the Attorney General since President Obama came into office in 2009.

Pro-democracy protests have erupted in Hong Kong, with thousands of people joining in the movement. Police there have responded with tear gas, pepper spray, and other violent means in an attempt to diminish the demonstrators’ power.
