Today, Service Board hosted its first-ever Service Fair, which was a smashing success. Held on the Senior Quad with a soundtrack of pop music and the aroma of freshly-made popcorn, students visited various booths and learned about new Service opportunities. Counters included a table for The Dowd Center, Shepherd’s Corner, MDA, and Children’s Hospital.
Among the popsicles, music and games, a good time was clearly had by all, and the Service Board hopes this event will encourage many Academy students to engage in their community–not just to complete the required service hours–but to have fun while bettering the world around them.
