Last Saturday night, on January 26th, as temperatures outside barely sneaked above 20 and snow carpeted the ground, students made their way to school in their beach-themed outfits to support the boy’s basketball team in its game against Heath.
The boys beat Heath 55-28, and student council’s pool party followed in the wake of this excitement. Due to logistical difficulties, there was no movie playing, but that didn’t stop the party from happening.
In the shallow end, a basketball game broke out almost immediately that lasted for the entirety of the pool party. In the rest of the pool, people floated on inner tubes and just enjoyed the pool.
The boy’s basketball team plays at home again on February 5th, and there is sure to be more thematic excitement in the student section.
