Despite its ongoing injuries, the girls soccer team managed to slam Liberty Union-Thurston last Thursday, 10-0, and it beat CSG 2-0 on Monday during Academy’s Senior Night, with Kat Weikert ’14 and Annie Meacham ’15 scoring the goals.

On behalf of the CSG win, Margaret Sutton ’14, said, “We won 2-0 against CSG but lost to Granville two Saturdays ago at Crew Stadium. It’s been a rough couple of weeks with a bunch of hard games, but I think we are starting to come together and adjust to our positions and places on the field.”

Their girls next game is October 2nd at Fisher Catholic.
