Overstretched with injuries and tough opponents, the soccer girls battle on, overcoming these adversities in their path.

On Thursday, September 22, the Vikings faced Bishop Ready, whom they lost to last year. Despite being down to 13 players, the girls dominated in a 3-0 victory.

Senior Sophie Krings scored two goals, and Annalise Grammel, one of the many talented freshman, scored a third. Kennedy Sulton’17 impressively filled in at goal, barricading the net for a shutout.

The squad undoubtedly proved that it can grind through grueling times and come out on top. It’s crucial that our community recognizes its tenacity and shows support for its dedication.

The Vikes face West Jefferson Wednesday, September 22 at home.
